Cavs get ‘A-plus’ at halfway point of season
MINNEAPOLIS—Kenny Atkinson gathered the team inside the cramped visitor’s locker room at Minnesota’s Target Center and delivered his latest victory speech.
Saturday night marked the halfway point of the season. The Cavs won their 35th game—a bounce-back victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves that allowed Cleveland to avoid its second two-game losing skid while also keeping grip on the NBA’s best record. It took the Cavaliers until Feb. 10 to hit the 35-win mark a year ago.
